Habib Ahmad Mashhur al-Haddad
Biography
Imam Ahmad Mashhur Taha al Haddad, also known as Habib Ahmad Mashhur, was born in Yemen in 1325AH. He was a gnostic who memorised the entire Quran at a young age and studied under great scholars such as Imam al-Habib Ahmad bin Hasan al-`Attas and Habib Alawi al Haddad. He became a prominent caller to Allah and played a crucial role in spreading Islam in East Africa, where more than 300,000 people embraced the faith. Habib Ahmad Mashhur was known for his humility, his adherence to the Prophetic way, and his ability to turn hearts towards righteousness.
