Samar Harfi is a licensed clinical psychologist in the state of Illinois. She holds a Doctorate and Master's degree in Clinical Psychology. Her clinical experience focuses on working with individuals who experience mood disturbances, anxiety, trauma, and relationship issues.

Dr. Samar’s clinical approach is integrative with a focus on narrative, interpersonal as well as traditional Islamically integrated psychotherapy. She is passionate about social justice and multicultural counseling and participated in national and international mental health projects. Dr. Samar received the President’s Volunteer Service Award for her work with refugees in Chicago in 2012.
