OCD Book Launch and Signing

About this event...
Claritas Books is pleased to announce this special book launch of The Islamic Workbook for Religious OCD and signing session with the author Dr Hooman Keshavarzi (USA).
OCD is a challenging mental health condition that affects individuals from all walks of life, including the Muslim community. In Islamic culture, OCD is often referred to as waswasa where individuals experience the whisperings of the devil that lead to doubts about their faith and excessive worry regarding religious practices. The impact of waswasa on the daily lives of Muslim patients, including their relationships, work, and mental health, cannot be overlooked.
This workbook was written in order to assist those struggling with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) during their journey to recovery. OCD symptoms can interact with religious beliefs and practices in religiously observant individuals, resulting in what is known as OCD scrupulosity.
The book launch is supported by Khalil Center, IIDR and Inspirited Minds
